Springtime in coastal North Carolina and love is in the air. This was a perfect setting for a bridal fair. I am in Southport, NC along the Cape Fear River on a beautiful day in April, 2008. Southport is located just south of Wilmington, NC between Myrtle Beach, SC. These young ladies have but one thing on their mind...getting hitched.

Hi Steve. I lived on Long Beach for a few years in my younger, carefree days. This makes me miss the beach and the sun! I have a friend named Tracy who was a wedding photograper in Southport. It was called Treasures Photography, but she's not in business any more.

Hi Todd. I can always tell the folks who go a long way back with their connections here because they still call it Long Beach. Most refer to it as Oak Island now. I've been coming to "Long Beach" for over 30 years now. Not sure why they felt they needed to change the name.
