The first serious solution for shooting video with the iPhone 3Gs. It’s all about stability. There is far too much side to side movement when shooting with an iPhone. Many people have been asking us about developing a PRO as well as a consumer handgrip system for the iPhone. iPhone video contests are popping up all over and the need to shoot stable video is now here. Introducing the Zgrip iPhone PRO a completely adjustable, quick releasable handgrip system for shooting professional stable video using the iPhone 3Gs. The consumer version is coming soon and will be substantially less expensive but will lose a lot of the adjustability to get to that lower price point. The iPhone 3Gs snaps into the Zgrip and you are ready to shoot. The handgrip fully articulates, and all of the red levers allow you to adjust every angle to get those interesting creative smooth shots. We also, have a couple of great accessories to help you shoot better sound, lighting & for getting up real high above people standing right by you. Watch our video and it will all become clear. The Zgrip iPhone PRO, developed by Zacuto, leading indie camera accessories maker in the professional market. All Zacuto products are designed and made in the USA and have a lifetime warranty.

Crazy cool but.. just use two hands instead of one?!?!

You gonna do a 35mm adapter with FF too? :P
Philip Bloom    June 30, 2009 02:40 PM

it does sound nuts, and do check out that mad redreock rig as it shows this very clearly in a crazy funny OTT way, but by taking your hands off of the phone you away a lot of the atrocious wobble vision of the camera and make it actually OK...

Actually its a cool idea but not sure why anyone would bother with the iPhone .. but as a gadget geek I admire it :)

To be honest, only cam I use besides my Ex-3 is the LX-3 sometimes with a gitzo monopod for runing around smooth 24mm goodness.. ahem anyway sliding way off topic here.

Zacuto is crazy mad, got to love it.

what's an EX3?

Ok, so what if someone calls you while the light and Zoom recorder are all hooked up? Is there a way the hand grip can be configured to allow you to actually talk to someone on the phone? :)

If the phone rings

Sure, hit the speaker phone and tell them you are shooting.
In response to someone who questions what kind of video you can make with this iPhone watch this: http://vimeo.com/groups/iphone3gs/videos/5393865
And here is what they went through to make that video: http://vimeo.com/5430133
Sure seems like a Zgrip iPhone would have made that easier.
