You can now disable comments and/or ratings for an asset.  This is made possible by new options to "allow comments" and "allow ratings" that are available when you upload your asset, or later when you "edit" the asset.  (These will be checked unless you un-check them.)  The two new options are depicted in the graphic below:

When "Allow Comments" is checked for an asset, members will be able to view comments as well as add their own, as shown below: 

 

You can disallow members from viewing and adding comments by unchecking "Allow Comments".  Members will see a message that comments have been disabled, but cannot see any comments that may have been added earlier.

 

Allow Ratings

When "Allow Ratings" is checked, members will be able to rate your asset and can see the average rating for the asset.

 

When "Allow Ratings" is unchecked members will not be able to rate your asset and no rating is displayed.  Any ratings that occurred before "Allow Ratings" was unchecked still exist, but are not displayed.
