We've added the ability to mark your assets with "Genre". It is not required to do this, but if you do, people who search for specific genres, such as "documentary", or "wildlife", can "find" your assets.

You will see the screen depicted by the image below when you are "editing" an asset:

Besides the entries in the drop down list, you will also see a radio button group comprised of a list of "genres" that you have previously chosen for your assets, and from which you can select. This list will be empty at first, and contain only "None".

To indicate a "genre" for your asset, be it photo, video, or music: Select from the drop down list, and press the "Add" button. You will see the screen as depicted in the image below. Notice "Landscape" is checked.

Be sure to "save" the information on the asset. The asset will now be of genre "Landscape", and "Landscape" is also added to your list of genres to make things a little easier than having to select from a large list each time, particularly if you tend to use just a certain subset of genres.

Note: For videos that were indicated as a type of "demo reel" or "documentary", the related genres were selected for you, and the "type" of video was changed to "short". This answers many member's expressed need for "short documentaries", and "short demo reels".
