ExposureRoom is pleased to announce the arrival of a new asset type – “Scripts”. If you write short stories, poetry or prose, this is the asset type for you.
After you’ve logged in and you are on your ExposureRoom member website, you will see a new menu item, “New Script”, appearing to the right of the “Upload Asset” menu item on your member menus, as depicted in the image below:
When you click on “New Script”, you will go to a new page where you can write your text piece using the same text editor that is used for blogs and other journals, and newsgroup posts.
In addition to writing the actual script, you’ll need to add other information as you do with other asset types: Title, description, and search tags, plus you’ll need at least one credit (which can be to yourself as “author”).
Like blogs, articles, tutorials and reviews, your script is not available to other members on ExposureRoom until you “publish” the script, which you do when on the edit page when you press “Save and Publish”.
After you have "saved" the script and closed the edit screen (or press “Save and Close”), you will see the script listed on your “Scripts” page as shown below:
Your Persistent NavBar Menus can now include “Scripts”!
You can add the “New Script” link to “My Menus” of the Persistent NavBar (green rectangle). To add this menu item, please review to the article “Personalize your Menus” which describes how to add and remove links from this menu: http://exposureroom.com/news/view.aspx/178/
Your Albums can now include “Scripts”!
Scripts can be added to albums just like Videos, Photos and Music. To see how to create albums, and add various assets to them, please refer to this article “Albums Now Available”: http://exposureroom.com/news/view.aspx/185/
