This short video shows you how to create a Banner for your ExposureRoom website so you can personalize your website. The Photoshop template we provide makes it really simple to create your own banner. Although I am not a regular Photoshop user, once I had the basic image I wanted to use ready, the actual task of making the banner took less than a minute. It's only 12 steps or so.

So try it out and start to personalize your website. If you have any issue or questions please post a comment.

Hi Shiv,

Since you added the banner template on my homepage I only can find the editors choice. My uploaded short/video s are gone ?!

Please let me know what is wrong or what I can do to resolve this.

Kind regards,
Hans van Enkhuijzen

Wonderfull

Hi, Hans

Liefs

Ingrid

Hans,
On your Home page you see "activity" by you and your friends on ExposureRoom. This "Activity feed" as we call it maintains information for a certain period (I believe it if 15 days or so). So I think what you are saying is that don't see your activity feed items?:)

To see your videos you should click on "Assets" and then click on "Videos". This is where you'll see your videos.

Please let me know if you need help understanding. Not sure what Ingrid is saying though :).

Banner PSD needs to be updated

Created a banner, but the PSD needs to be updated for the drop down going on top of the banner. See: http://exposureroom.com/members/stevecahill.aspx

I just moved the photos down a bit using the guides in PS to match the top menu banner.

Steve,

The template is provided so as to produce the rounded corners and styling, that's similar to what is used in the menus. But yes, you have to account for the menus. We should probably include the menu portion in the template so you know how best to arrange things you want visible.

However, looking at your banner, it doesn't look like you've followed the instructions :). I say this because the banner is not rounded and so doesn't quite fit in.

footer

I'm having trouble getting my footer to show up, anyone else have that problem?

Shiv Kumar    July 18, 2008 09:47 AM

Hi Keenan,

The footer part is not implemented yet :), sorry. We should probably remove it till we work out how we plan to show it.
